Responsibilities:
- Assisting teachers in preparing lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Setting up necessary materials and equipment for classes, such as projectors or chemistry sets.
- Tracking student attendance and schedules to ensure that students are meeting academic requirements.
- Reviewing material taught in class with individual students who may be struggling with learning challenges.
- Working with smaller groups of students to provide remedial teaching or reinforce the learning process.
- Escorting and supervising students during field trips and school activities.
- Ensuring that classrooms are safe and tidy before classes start.
- Assisting teachers with various tasks, such as grading assignments and communicating with parents about student progress.
- Helping students adjust to the school environment, learn and socialize, and reporting any possible behavioural issues to teachers.
